The article titled, "A short-term evaluation between the result of palisade cartilage tympanoplasty and temporalis fascia technique" published in pages 63-66, issue 2, vol. 20 of "Indian Journal of Otology" [1] is being retracted. It has been reported and found that the article contains overlapping text sections from another article titled, "A short-term evaluation between result of palisade cartilage tympanoplasty and temporalis fascia technique" previously published in pages 105-111, issue 3, vol. 24 of "Iranian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology" [2] . Therefore, on the grounds of duplicity of text, the article in concern is being retracted.
